Katherine T. Waller has extensive experience in the areas of employment and immigration law. She attended Louisiana State University and Northeast Louisiana University graduating with a Bachelor’s degree. She is a 1991 graduate of the University of Tulsa College of Law and a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association. She practices in all Oklahoma State Courts; the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma; U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma; U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit. She practices before immigration judges and the Board of Immigration Appeals. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Hispanic Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic America Foundation, and serves on the Board of Directors for the charity organization, Neighbor for Neighbor. Ms. Waller has assisted immigration clients from around the world in a wide range of matters including but not limited to permanent residency based upon family, employment, diversity, national interest waiver, and extraordinary ability. She also has successfully executed the approval of visas for her clients including but not limited to the following visas: B-1, B-2, H-1B, H-2B, L-1, K-1, K-3, and M-1. Immigration matters must be handled correctly from the onset or unforeseen complications may occur, and Ms. Waller uses her extensive litigation experience before immigration, state, and federal courts to the benefit of her clients. Due to her litigation experience, she can effectively represent immigration clients to resolve problems which have arisen due to prior incorrect handling of their cases. The Katherine T. Waller Law Firm is not a practice based solely on filing forms. She has assisted her clients with asylum, deportation, cancellation of removal, appeals, and waivers. Ms. Waller has assisted and advised clients in many areas of employment law including employment handbooks, employment agreements, and personnel concerns. Her representation of clients includes litigation in a variety of federal and state employment matters, before federal and state courts, the Department of Labor, the Oklahoma Human Rights Commission, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Katherine Waller previously lived in Dhahran Saudi Arabia and understands the nature and challenges of moving to a foreign country. She has traveled extensively throughout the world including much of Asia and Europe, and most recently traveled to Thailand to assist a Chinese client.
